So what is The Frugivore Diet?

the frugivore diet is a fruit-based diet that best suits the human frugivores physiological requirements. this includes a living foods diet of mostly sweet and non-sweet fruits, leafy greens, some vegetables, nuts, seeds. if you would like to learn more about a humans basic anatomy in comparison to other frugivores and non-frugivorous animals then check out this comparative anatomy chart i revised. you can click on the picture for better quality.

here is a simple infographic i put together many years ago that still applies today. i would just replace pasta with yams when it comes to optimal back up food.

      • I love pomelos 😍‼️

        • Hi, are they like grapefruit?

          • Yes. But a little less tart.

            • Some can be tart, and disappoint.  Thankyou!

  • Day 5 is turning like Day 3, so good so far, but having a rare cup of coffee before bed.  Pleased to be making progress with my salad eating, feeling better/lighter than cooked potatoes and frying, thanks Freelee!  I'm doing alternate days at the moment, thanks for having me.

  • Day 11

today was such a busy day, nothing was really breakfast, lunch, dinner 🥴

what I ate today was 2 pints strawberries, a pint of blackberries, 8 bananas, 3 persimmons and a LOT of Cara Cara oranges.

  • Day 11

Breakfast - banana passion fruit smoothie

Lunch - orange and melon juice

    Dinner - figs

    2,346 kcals

Today is normally the day were I cave and add foods in to slow this down. I'm getting rashes through the skin and major pains in the abdomen (I have a history of endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS). I'm very bloated and weight is piling on (inflammation) 😬 Detoxing is not fun. On the postive side I usually only achieve this state with water fasting so it good to have found a way to eat that also achieves the bad stuff exiting 😀

  • Day 10!

Breakfast: Smoothie- 8 bananas, 1 cup blueberries 2 stalks celery.

    Lunch: 1 pineapple

Dinner: 1 large Honey crisp apple.  Romaine lettuce with tomatoes, cucumber, sweet mini red and orange peppers, 1/2 avocado with Dill-icious Ranch dressing (recipe from the Raw Advantage) made with 1 zucchini, hemp seeds, lemon juice, date, green onion, dill, parsley and italian seasoning.

Well, I learned 2 things today:

1- omitting spinach from my morning smoothie took care of the bloating.

2- never to eat a whole pineapple that isn't fully ripe. It looked ripe and smelled ripe and has been sitting on the table for 5 days, so I assumed it was. Chopped it up and put it in a bowl. While eating it I noticed that some of the pieces were sweet and some were bitter. But I was hungry so I kept chowing down. About 2/3 of the way in I noticed my tongue starting to burn. As I kept eating the burning was getting worse but I wanted to finish since it was almost gone. Big mistake! Had to leave behind about 6 pieces of pineapple because my tongue was destroyed and couldn't go on. Rinsed with water, but the water tasted like metal. After giving it a rest for a few hours and drinking water it got better. It was a little difficult eating dinner at first but I think the cold veggies soothed the burned taste buds. Still a little tender.  Oh well, llive and learn!!

Cronometer: only 1968 because I forgot to put the usual 7 dates into the breakfast smoothie *face palm*

  • Day 10

breakfadt was a 8 banana, 6 date smoothie.

mid morning I had a pint of strawberries

lunch I was ready for savory so I had celery, tomatoes cucumbers sliced to dip in my raw vegan spicy zucchini hummus. Yum.

    more strawberries (loads more haha)

dinner was bananas (not sure how many. I ate until I was full.

  • Today is a good day. I woke up with SO much energy and accomplished all of my tasks I had to do before noon lol. So now im about to have some me time and do some yoga.

breakfast: huge chocolate malt with bananas, dates, carob, sugar.

lunch: zoodles in a tomato and mango sauce

    snack: peaches, dates, bananas

dinner: raw pizza 🤤 I made the crust out of cauliflower and sprouted buckwheat. I was watching Chris Kendall on YouTube and got pizza cravings. Check him out.
During the work week I stick to simple things like salads and lots of fruit, but on the weekends I like to have something more fun. I also have more time to do these fun meals. It keeps me motivated and provides something I look forward to each weekend. This is so important when staying raw, imo.
