The lovely Cecilie approached me with the brilliant idea of putting up an information pamphlet here on 30BaD.  Thanks to Cecilie (& a few others) it is now available! You can just print it off and give it to interested people you meet on your path (or a web version is available). I think we have covered all the fundamental aspects of a LFRV lifestyle within  but just in case we haven't I would love to hear your opinion and will definitely consider any contributions :-)

  • LOVE the picture of the watermelon.  Makes me salivate.  Also, as someone familiar with raw but new to 811, I appreciate the tip about no more than a handful of nuts each day.  As I am still reading Dr. Graham's book, I had not yet figured out how much fat to eat, so I've not had any at all for the past two weeks.  That was a useful guideline for me.  Thanks!

  • The recipes are really unique

  • me likey
  • Oh! I had not seen this thread. I have goosebumps right now, I had no idea this pamphlet could potentially reach so many people, and be translated to multiple laguages.

Thank you so much for all the nice comments!!

Hope it will help reach more an more people with the LFRV diet!!
    • sorry cecilie I thought you had done enough work already so I decided I'd contact you when the final edition was ready (which would be another thread of compliments!!:-) Thanks for persevering and making such an awesome pamphlet like you said it's really going to reach a lot of ppl!
      • No problem, its just a great surprice to see the response!! WOW.
  • Good point :)
  • My only issue is on the last page, when LFRV is mentioned as the diet we are "designed" for. One of the credibility problems that 811 has is being born from religious folk. Now, whether or not some 811ers are religious/creationist etc. if this is meant to reach a wide audience, and become more accepted in the mainstream, it seems to me we should join the modern era and change "Could this be because our bodies are actually designed
to live on fruit and greens?" To "Could this be because our bodies have actually evolved
to live on fruit and greens?"

Just my two sense. Sorry to be so picky about semantics
  • I thinks the fat limit is posted high saying blanketly half avo a day or handfull o nuts and should be more correct as everyone is different
  • that would be fantastic fruitalicious
