My partner and I are greatly considering moving to cuenca or outside of Quito next spring. Any advice you guys might have on where to move and where it is safe would be greatly appreciated.
I don't want to be in the middle of the city. I don't mind even a 45 minute drive as long as I can have that "middle of no where" almost feel. I can't seem to get ahold of Freelee, there's no e-mail to contact her as she's the only one I know living there who appreciates the same lifestyle as we do.

Hi,
No it's not just Freelee, there is also, at least, Terra Frutis (where I live now) and Fruit Haven Ecovillage. Note it's not close to any major city, about 5 h to Cuenca and 12 h to Quito by bus.
What's the weather and living situation like at Terra?
