Deathly Ill on Rawtill4 - HELP!

Hey guys, I'm new here. I started Rawtill4 a few weeks ago for approximately 2 1/2 weeks. I got terrible headaches, fevers, migraines, hot/cold flashes, pre-faint feelings, nausea, and many more... That's why I had to stop, but I don't want to give up! I really want to keep trying and trying. I'm still a high carb vegan in the meantime, eating lots of grains.

Some background information-

I'm a 17 year old girl, I've had a bumpy dietary past with 1200-1400 calorie restriction when I was 15-16. It wasn't that bad, but there was a three month period where I ate 800 calories and almost dropped underneath 100 pounds. Once as I got some pretty bad comments from other people I got healthy again pretty fast. I'm 5'5" and pretty athletic. For almost two years now, every day I have done a 30 minute HIIT routine, plus some days I also go hiking/walking up steep hills because of my job as a dog walker/trainer. However for the past several months I have reverted back to my stable diet of not tracking calories due to extreme obsession which leads to self harm. I eat about 1 cup (dry) quinoa cooked, lots of apples, bananas whenever they ripen (they take so long!), dried figs, and raisins. I've been trying to stop putting maple syrup over my quinoa since I'm not sure if I should be having it or not? I eat some corn tortillas in the day too, plus bread with some humus and veggies on it. I also started my vegan diet last year, but there was a 3 month period several months ago I switched back to an omnivore diet then vegetarian due to experimenting with p90X. That was terrible and I will never eat that shitty again, so I'm back eating vegan again and my body loves me now.

I have serious mental health disorder which requires me to take medication or I will self harm or try something else. I loose control and I cannot live without my small small dose of medication. When I was on Rawtill4 I felt like it was washed out of my system and I got destructive during that time. It was one of the worst experiences in my life. Accompanied with fevers, migraines, nausea, and extreme sickly feelings I had to stop. Ever since then I get a fever whenever I eat too much fruit, I have had a pretty constant heavy and fast heart rate since then, heavy breathing, and burn up really easily. I felt like I was on fire while on this diet, my skin felt like it was burning like hell. Has anyone else had these symptoms? Please, please help :( I don't have any vegan friendly doctors in my area and its my DREAM to be at least rawtill4 or fully raw one day. I just don't want to feel like I'm literally dying. It triggered some old PTSD symptoms when I went through those few weeks and I am so god damn scared to go back full on. I need some way to transition, ahhh, please help... :(

  • Sounds like you're detoxing way too fast.

I hope you feel better =(

  • I understand how life can be hard to find the right balance, but don't give up, keep trying, it is worth it.  In the city I live in, I have never met any vegan, vegetarians are in short supply, meat is sold everywhere. But that doesn't mean you are alone!

All of the symptoms you expressed could be caused by allergies or an autoimmune system disease. It is estimated that 3% of people lock away against there will for suicidal schizophrenia are actually suffering from an autoimmune disease called Celiac Disease or a corn allergy.  Remove anything made from wheat, corn, barley, rye or cross contaminated oats, and they return to normal thinking. Road Rage is likely caused by this! 97% of people who suffer from Celiac Disease do know know they have it!

Some kinds of oranges, tomatoes, peanuts, and soybeans cause me life threatening problems I need a hospital E.R. visit for.  I cannot eat the above listed grains.

Find some safe food you can eat and test yourself.  For example, I use steamed squash and bananas.  Eat your safe foods for one to 3 says till you feel good... then eat a suspect food.  You could react in under 3 hours, OR it may be absorbed in your large intestine 3 days later. If you have no bad reaction in 3 days you can count the food as safe. If you have the synptoms you listed, avoid that food.

    Hope this helps...

  • If your body works better on starches then eat that. That is definitely a much cheaper and easier route, and it seems for you it is healthier. Don't let certain guidelines rule your life!
