Here is the info on Everesting and the current HOF aka Hall Of Fame

8848m on a single climb in a single ride. That's a lotta carbz!

If you are not sure if a climb has been done then just check the HOF and if its not on the list then it hasnt been done unless someone went out that week and did and the HOF has not been updated yet.

When I everested Norton Summit I did it with a 34x32 easiest gearing and kept my watts under 200w for most of the time I was climbing. Pacing is critical. As much as cadence, water and sugar. I didnt use any stims or pain killers and took a quick 10-15 min power nap.

I didnt have any support team other than Freelee came out to give me a bowl of pasta and a few ginger beers after 15hours of riding.

Instead I just had a 10liter cask of water on the side of the road and had a bag of carbs attached to a string that I tied to a tree near the first hair pin and would stop there every few laps to pull up the bag and restock the jersey pockets.

I had high powered lights and took it really easy on each descent especially towards midnight when animals are around and fatigue has slowed down a riders response.

Here is my strava data for my first everesting.
