Firefox nixing my pic clicks??

I've recently started using Firefox over Internet Explorer because I heard its performance was superior.  So far true in most all areas, except for the picture copy/paste option. 

In IE, it was usually a simple matter of rightclick/copy/and paste into desired location. 

FF isn't allowing me to do that, and if anybody knows me, you know that I need easy access to posting silly pics!  At first it would just give me a tiny squiggly square, and now that I just upgraded to version 4, FF just ignores the paste command.

Any tips, por favor?

 

*edit*  now something new--the pic will load, but be rejected because it allegedly has some 70,000 characters, while the reply box will only hold some 40K!  Huh?

    So when you right click the image, choose "Copy image location"?
