Hawaii in Nov, advice...

Hey we're considering going to Hawaii in November, it's definitely not set in stone but we was just hoping for some advice from the locals or from people in the know...

* What is the fruit availability like in November? Especially juicy fruits. We've heard that Durian is $6 a kg which is pretty much a treat here and there so we'll have to rely on other fruits.

* Where is the best place to go? Our friend Rich lives in Pahoa, which I believe is just down the road from Dougs 811 village - does anyone know how that is going?

* Somewhere to stay? Any cheap accom suggestions?

* Weather in November?

* Estimate of how much money will be needed to live there for a month or 2

.....

Any other info you could provide would be great! It would be awesome to meet you over there too :)

I also grow tons of cannabis (7000 plants), and i build houses if anyone needs i got a girlfriend she gives massages and i am a super model :D

Yes buy a one way ticket because you won't want to leave and will save you on the return ticket.

  I just arrived on Sunday in Pa'auilo on the Big Island, near Honoka'a where I am WOOFing on an off-the-grid spot. I'm looking to connect with fruity friends. No transportation at present, but we could work something out, I hope! 541-514-3042. Text or call (better than internet). Not much fruit on site, but papayas abound in the market in town.... :-D And yes, it's rainy, but better tropical rain in a tent than PNW rain in an apt!!

I just moved to the big island last week and would love to meet up with you guys when/if you come. By november i'll probably have a better handle on getting plenty of the freshness. Keep us posted.
