    There seems to be some default here that retains the original name with which you sign up.  Always seems to stay as the URL for your personal page.  

    I can ask my team if there's any way this can be altered, but it seems to be locked in to Ning.

      There is a way to change the URL as well.  Click settings on the settings page click on the link on the list of links to the left that says my page.  There are different categories under the my page settings these categories are Photo, Appearance the third one down is address and under address it says http://www.30bananasaday.com/profile/_______________  The underline blank portion is what I typed in it isn't there but what the underline blank portion represents is under that section after the http://www.30bananasaday.com/profile/ there is a blank box that has your pages URL ending and you can type anything you want in this blank box and push save and that will be your pages new URL so she can type in that box Veganista and her new profile page will be http://www.30bananasaday.com/profile/veganista

          I see your old account here is gone.  Assuming you started a new one, how did you bring over all your old 300+ discussions with you?

          my account still comes up when i type in geena bianchi into google? after changing my url

    You are welcome.  Yeah unfortunately there is probably not much you can do about the google thing.  It will probably go away once you have had the new profile name for awhile.

    i changed my name but if i type in my real name it still pops up in google that this is my profile?

    Go to Settings (which is located underneath your inbox, Alerts, Friend links in the little box on the upper right column of the page)  As soon as you click settings it will take you to the page you want to be at.  On that page look under the heading Profile and in the Full Name field type the new account name and save.
