  • This makes me not want to go in a pool this summer!!!
  • the water systems are faulty by design and are easily contaminated with bacteria, that why that stuff is added. also you can find info about major scams and dental cons dealing with fluoridating the water. dont trust that stuff. the chems in the water are extremely detrimental. things like fluoride, chlorine, other heavy metals. i got one of those shower filters, and notice such a difference. got for for my moms house and dads house too for Christmas presents, and they enjoy them also. i would recommend using one. i wont shower with out one, with hot showers, you are breathing toxic gas.

They must have been laughing when they wrote that.
I found this about the tablets as used in wastewater systems:
"Designed to be totally immersed in water, Tri-Chlor tablets that are exposed to periodic flows begin to decompose and release an explosive gas call nitrogen trichloride. This colorless gas is heavier than air and has a strong odor of chlorine. If a sufficient concentration of nitrogen trichloride builds with the wastewater system, it can be ignited when exposed to an open flame or organic contaminates. Though rare, these explosions can be devastating, causing extensive property damage and potentially serious injuries."
It's like those CFL lightbulbs, if you break one get the family and the dog and run for the hills!...oh, but the chance of braking a lightbulb is so small, no worries!
