I feel weaker and weaker

Hello.

This summer I made raw til 4 programme and I felt awesome. I had so much power and vitality, and found out that (mostly) fruit is the way to live a truly amazing life.

Nowadays, I have no possibility to eat that healthy due to lack of money (I'm in high school and can't limit any costs cause it's not my money..). All I can afford is 0.5-1 fully raw, made of  fresh fruits meal. My other meals contain basically pasta, potatoes, rise, bread, tomatoes, dried dates.

Moreover, I'm a bit dehydrated (I try to drink as much as I can while I'm in school but my urine isn't completely clear) and have problems with falling asleep/sleeping which is related to stress (school is the reason). I try to do yoga but I think it's too soon to expect any effects.

As a result, I don't have enough energy to run (my performance is worse and worse), learn and enjoy life although I try. What may be the major reason? Or is it caused by all of these factors? Any advices how to cope with this situation?

  • how many calories are you eating ?

you are fortunate to have a good vegan diet

drink 3+ quarts of water each day

    • I eat about 3000-3500 calories.

  • Could you switch one starch meal for a meal of bananas? They're super cheap.

Definitely try to drink enough-that's critical. Do you drink a lot before school? Getting hydrated all day before you eat cooked food helps a lot.

    • I usually drink 0.7 liter of water before school and then at school 0.3-0.4 liter per hour. Do you think I can eat a breakfast of starches, lunch of bananas/other fruits and dinner of starches? Will it much affect my digestion?

      Thanks for reply!

      • DON'T eat starches and then fruit-it'll cause bloating and indigestion. Have a fruit breakfast always, then lunch of fruit if you can (If not then have starch for lunch) and then starch for dinner.

        • It'll be difficult to eat starches for lunch at school.. What about datorade made of dried dates?

          • Dateorade doesn't keep well in my experience. I tried making it ahead of time and taking it work work and it separated and got "flat" (not frothy anymore) by the time I drank it. You could do dateorade for breakfast and bananas for lunch though :)

            • Yes, that's really good idea. Thank you for help. :)

              • You're very welcome :)
