  • hi :)

I think we could really find great spot around equator line  in amazon rainforest of brazil.

here you see equator line. https://aurelle.co/photos/ppictures/indonesia/map-world-equator-bra...

Equator line is just at north of manaus.

I think if you go to north-west from Manaus, Brazil it would be the best spot and more rich pristine fruit tree environment .

I found  great place to explore.. you could explore both side of  amazon river negro at the point  on Google map.

As I see  its the most pristine point.. but keep in touch with me  about your progress when you are there.

You could contact me or pm me.

    Thank you

  • I am in Peru now, and thinking of starting to explore the amazon a bit, really don't have any idea of where to start. My plan is to cross into Brazil and then head up to Venezuela before and from there to look for a way back to Canada (either by crossing back to Colombia, or possibly getting a boat to Trinidad, or Curacao, then flying from there). At the moment I am looking at going from Cusco, down to Puerto Maldonado, and then either across to Riberalta, or up to Rio Branco then Porto Velho, or heading to Iquitos, through one of several routes and then onwards to Manaus. It is such a vast area, and there are lots of areas where there is a lot go environmental degradation due to Cattle, soy, oil, gold mining, etc. and then there are parts that are very inaccessible. So will probably just choose to look for a nice climate, and hopefully good fruit and pristine environment, and be able to spend some time there. Do you have any ideas or info about any likely spots???
