Introducing myself! :)

Hey everyone!

My name's Alyssa and I've decided to live a raw till 4 lifestyle as of a couple weeks ago. LOVING my date/banana smoothies, fruity lunches and pasta dinners so far, I'm full and happy all the time, and for once instead of feeling cold I get rushes of nice heat probably from being a glucose fueled machine, haha. 

I've been a vegan for almost 1 year (August 10th is my veganiversary) and was primarily having fun learning how to make vegan junk food. While delicious and much better than my omni/SAD days, my weight wasn't improving (though my blood pressure went from pre hypertensive to normal range just from cutting out animal products - score!) I wanted to not only look and feel better but to be a living example of how great veganism is for humans and saw all the great raw till 4 videos, success stories, and did more research on metabolic damage and the "duh, this is how I'm supposed to be eating" light went off.

Other than veganism, I love cartoons and animation, as I work from home as a freelance artist/illustrator/cartoonist. This freedom allows me to fly frequently enough to travel to visit family and friends across the country which is one of my favorite things to do in the world (the visiting part, not so much the flying part). I love to chat about veganism, movies, music, and can blab forever and ever about anything, so feel free to message me whenever :)
