I've been trying to change my name but whenever I do I get an error saying:

Sorry about this inconvenience. In case if the matter has not been solved, you should be able to do this:
On the right side of your page, under your name and inbox is a link called settings, click on that and you will come to a page that looks almost like your application did. You can change your name and or re-answer some of your original questions too if you wish.
At the bottom of the page is a save button, click on that.
If in case that does not work, you may have to clear your browser history and or cookies. Sometimes, our host platform Ning's functions do not work with broken cookies.
