We know you are a passionate bunch and we do love it ~ but we have seen a big increase in the number of posts using inappropriate language and there ARE children reading this forum, is this the kind of example we went to promote? We have received complaints about the language and found appropriate action was needed to be taken.
Durianrider does choose to incorporate certain words on occasions to really punch the point home but when he does it is always "adapted" so it doesn't actually read as the original word but the impact is still there...that said even Durianrider has refrained from using "fcuking" so there is no confusion.
The following are some variations that are acceptable and a bit fun too...
Eg - Instead of using "f*cking" we would like you to use the following sort of format instead - @#$%^& or ^&%$#@ *&^%$##. This can keep others guessing as to what is really being said, which can lighten up the situation and hopefully keep everyone happy.
Any posts using inappropriate language may be removed.
Please apply this system to other inappropriate words.
So just to clarify - do not use words that are commonly known as "swear words" in the TITLE of your post ever or on the forum and blogs, it's just unnecessary, there is plenty of other words to choose from that will paint a similar picture!
OK...WE ARE NOW ALLOWING SWEARING IN THE "STEAM ROOM" BUT NO WHERE ELSE PLEASE!
We still encourage you to be passionate and express yourself but just do it mindfully considering the audience everytime.
