  • Most of the healthiest, slimmest and longest living populations lived on mostly rice as a staple. That is a fact noone can deny. This article was probably written by someone who isn't even vegan, so you have to be careful who you take advice from.

  • About every plant we eat nowadays is hybrid. Doesn't mean we shouldn't eat them.

    • Indeed, saying a plant is a hybrid is meaningless.

  • Rice is bird food, dead food. Eat raw living foods and you won't have to question the health of it.

  • The food you eat is "healthy" in terms of relative gradations. You need something else to compare it to. Fruit is far more nutritious and ideal for your well being than rice. However, you can also clearly say that rice is far more beneficial to well being than mud cookies, for example. Of course, there are circumstances where you can't really compare as much through evaluating pros and cons. In this scenario, if there is CLEARLY a better option, opt for that one. If not, then I'd encourage you to either research into their nutritional profile (nutritiondata is great) and the way both were produced.

Just my two cents! Hope this helps.

  • Rice, especially white, may be "dead," but it's better than plastic, it's still carbs.
It's just almost entirely carbs, nothing else.
Remember, best, very good, good, okay, bad, horrible, terrible. Rice isn't terrible, but plastic is. But rice isn't the best either. It's just okay, maybe even good depending on what you're looking for.

Starch isn't evil though, lol. It's just not the best (for us).
