  • What's up with the masks? Looks creepy.

    • We used the masks for multiple reasons.

1- They look creepy and really grab people's attention.

2- They represent the anonymity and voicelessness of abused animals.

3- They represent the secrecy that industries of exploitation try to maintain.

4- By being masked and silent, it took the burden off of us to argue with people. The videos spoke for themselves.

      • ya i think the masks are quite exceptional - very effective!

you have a great group there - i have a feeling you had a lot to do with them being that way too, jacob!

        • They are good folks, I think a passion for animal rights brings out the best in people... And yes, apparently the group was losing some momentum and motivation before I found them, but it has been a great privilege to help stoke the fire and get everyone active again!

  • brilliantly done, jacob!

    masks and everything!

you certainly got quite a lot of attention!

    • I also posted this video on our public facebook page, where it received 2,200 views and 93 shares overnight. We got the idea from DxE Toronto, and since we posted our video activists in Seattle and Chicago have already been inspired to do the same, and will be doing similar demos there.
