sore muscles and joints after b12 injection

I've had an adverse reaction to my b12 injection, my itchy skin has gone but my muscles are really weak and achey!! Has anyone else had this happen?

Or any tips on how I can help my body to recover? I'm on holiday so desperate for it to pass so I can hike and run and just skip about!!!

  • Yep this is a side effect many people have to b12 injections.  They either have a side effect, allergy, or overdose.  I always recommend to get tested by a professional medical provider, and only supplement if low and only via prescriptions from a sterile pharmacy.  Also work with your doctor on dosage.  Some people do not need megadoses and or some people may do ok with just an otc pill form.

    • I was low and went to a doctor.. I looked into it further and it was a chemical form of b12 they used and I think my body didn't like that! I'm ok now though :D feeling like my self again !!

  • I've never had a b12 injection, but I did get my tetanus booster about 2 weeks ago (intramuscular) and it was sore for about 3-4 days.

    • It's not just the area I had the injection, it's my whole body! Particularly arms n legs :/ it's been nearly a week!
