Stomach Pain

I've been eating vegan for quite some time now and have been slowly working my way to a raw till 4 lifestyle.  But I'm running into some problems at lunch time.  I love my morning smoothie and my cooked stir-fry for dinner but I can't seem to make it through lunch.  I bring so much raw fruit but it really just makes my stomach upset.  It almost feels very acidic.  I've tried salads as well, but I get really awful cramps.  My fruits are not acidic fruits (I've done strawberries and bananas, green salads with raspberries and cucumbers... etc.)

Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make these pains go away or if this is just my body adjusting?

Thank you!

  • Some of us cannot handle the smoothies and juices and find it better to eat things in their whole, raw, and ripe forms.  Even if RT4, eating things in plant form, ie a steamed potatoe, not processed potato styx, might go better.  Juicing Side Effects

If RT4 is not working, try a 99-100% raw diet...

The RT4 Plan does not work for everyone and that is ok.   Some, but not all reasons include being sensitive to grains and gluten products, toxins in some cooked foods like solanine in potatoes, and many cooked foods are high in oxalate acid.   Also, cooked foods trigger an inflammatory response and high white blood cell production in most people.  Some diabetics and some sensitive individuals such as those with metabolic syndrome issues, or hormone imbalances including insulin regulation, may also have issues with starchy foods and cooked foods.

    99-100% Raw Long Term Success

Eat a raw frugivorous diet where most carbohydrates and calories come from whole, raw, ripe, sweet, and juicy fruits like oranges, papaya, or mangoes, supplemented with about ½-2 heads of lettuce greens a day ,(not high oxalate veggies like kale, chard, and spinach), and about a handful of raw nuts or seeds a day. Eat simple meals (like mono meals, or only use a few ingredients) but a rainbow of foods over a period of time.

Eat enough on a daily basis with at least 2500 calories for females and at least 3000 calories for males.  Drink 2-4 quarts of water a day and pee clear. Get 8-12 hours of sleep as needed. Exercise about 30 minutes a day 5-6 days a week with at least one day off for rest and repairs.  Get about 30 minutes of sunshine a day on your skin for vitamin D, mental health, eye health, and healthy bones and teeth.
