A close friend and I have been doing raw till 4 for almost a year now and we've both put on a fair bit of weight. We are both more than okay with this however we are starting to get stretch marks from the weight gain which is the only permanent side effect from being on the diet so far. Its funny though because you would initially think of this as the diet making us put weight on but really it is probably the amount of contraceptives we have both been on or should I say "sex steroids" haha.

I wish there were some good studies on the diet long term. Lets say over a 10 year period comparing over 1000 people doing rawtill4 and another 1000 people doing a standard american/australian diet and who knows maybe another condition where people are just vegan and eat low calories. Unfortunately it costs a LOT to do studies of this type and a LOT of time. This diet just makes sense though, why would nature make it a bad thing to eat unlimited calories???

Anyway I'm most definitely going to continue on and hope the stretch marks don't get too bad but again who cares, they're just stretch marks!!! 

I would love to hear of some more success stories of people who gained weight and then lost it like Freelee.
