Ever since I was a child I loved The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono.For years I dismissed it as idealism, but increasingly, as I've researched permaculture and other restorative agriculture systems, I see that Giono packed some incredible wisdom in this simple and quick story.I wrote a review, which is here.I hope all of you will take the time to read this amazing tale.Then go plant some trees.Best,-Andrew

that's a beautiful story... imagine, while a world war is going on in the rest of the world, this man is helping the entire human race by simply spreading some seeds and - essentially - a message a peace and hope.
