I've been getting an email each time there's a new post on a thread i've been active in and such like. well is there a way of getting notified on the site rather than emails??

Hm, how can I stop my forum posts from appearing on my profile page? It's not like I need 'em there.
Hi! From my understanding it should be changed if you follow this link and scroll way down to "Latest Activity" and choose what activities you want to be visible and which ones you don't want to be visible on your profile page. :)

Just click "Unfollow" right under the original post. That should do it.
