Forks Over Knives, Zeitgeist, Earthlings, and 2012: Time for a Change, meet fruit!
Tony Wright, coauthor of the amazing book "Left In The Dark," has given me rights to the images in his presentations, helping me put together a documentary film about our frugivorous background, our disconnection from our natural diet, lifestyle, and how it has shaped the world we live in today.

The film will be called "Utopia or Oblivion," which is the question the viewer will face at the end of the film, after learning that paradise is an easy option.

I have set up an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for the film. It will be professional quality, so the campaign will provide the funds needed for the professional equipment. I will be attending permaculture gardens, sustainable communities, and the Woodstock Fruit Festival to interview people, like yourself, in the health movement, connecting with the vision that our community represents. I cannot do this without your support. Any kind of contribution helps immensely. If you, like myself, barely have enough money to keep yourself nourished and housed, please visit my Indiegogo campaign, if you use Facebook, click "like on Facebook" and share the link that is given, where ever possible. It only takes a second, and could be the deciding factor whether this project gets funded or not. Your time and efforts are priceless to the cause.

Here is a rough draft extended-trailer for the film. Unlike this trailer, the film will focus on where science and religion co-mingle and agree, to make sure no one is offended, so we may all gain inspiration to set apart our differences, and unite for a better world.
Thank you so much. Together we may shape a world fit for our children.

  • I am crazy excited about this documentary!   Please make a facebook page solely for your film.  Will you be at Woodstock this year?  I can't wait to hear more updates. :)

    • Me too! hahaha Okay, that's a good idea, I'll make a Facebook page. Are we friends on Facebook? If not, find me @ Raini Ostler Pachak and I'll link you to the Film "like" page. If people share and support my campaign I will certainly be making it to the Woodstock Fruit Festival to interview the beautiful healthy frugivores there. Thanks for your support, Melissa.
