A friend of mine is looking for a farm manager for his hydroponic vegetable farm. Need farm experience, marketing and business knowledge, ability to lead a small crew. This could be an opportunity for a serious farmer wanting to move to the tropics. He will be hiring less experienced workers also, later on. No labor issues with U.S. passport or work visa. Other opportunities- the Department of Agriculture rents good farmland for $50 per acre per year. 2 developed orchards for sale- 5 and 12 acres. This isn't Hawaii (too expensive) or Florida (too cold and flat) or Costa Rica (too rugged). Send me a PM for contact information if you're interested in any of the above. I have no financial interests here. I'm a raw vegan (mostly), farmer, and extension specialist promoting agriculture and raw community in the Virgin Islands.
