  • 2 lbs is a joke. My weight fluctuates as much as 8-12 lbs within a day. You can't know if you gained 2 lbs of fat or if it's just water weight.

    FWIW, carbohydrates are stored in the body as glycogen, in the muscles and liver. In order to store glucose as glycogen, the body needs water. For every gram of stored glycogen the body needs about 3 g of water. Our bodies can store as much as 500 g of glycogen, so make the calculations. 2 lbs? Don't worry man.

    • My scale covers BMI,WATER,FAT,WEIGHT and Muscle. So yes I know I've gained weight as the scale says so.

      • But those scales are anything but accurate. You can't trust a scale to measure body fat percentage. If you want to believe you gained 2 lbs of fat, then that's your choice.

        • Is it normal to be so bloated the first couple of days? I am not sure if I am bloated, or just fat. LOL. But really, I know I am bloated from PMS, but I feel a little extra today.

  • i wish i only gained 2 pounds! i just started this life style so ive gained about 7... will this eventually go away? :(
