Well, hello there.

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Akber (pronounced like Amber, minus the "M") and joined this fruitful website today. I've been a vegan for almost a month now and loving every single bit of it. My presence on reddit vegans is highly active; reading cool and disgusting posts alike. Reason of me going vegan was only for the animals and the planet (the health was a bonus). Watching all the DR, Gary Yurosky, 101 reasons, videos and so forth amplified my knowledge and emotions, awakening my dormant self from a deep slumber.

I live in Needville (most of the time) and Sugar Land (every now and then), Texas, about 20 miles south of Houston. I've been studying in college since 2011 but hated it due to being forced and brainwashed with incorrect major choices, and being force fed with information that is either complete bull crap or lacking interest. Funny thing is after going vegan I realized this (a month ago), so now i am in a rut and trying to figure out how to solve such problems. I've sent Harley a few messages in regards to this, along with a few more issues, awaiting an answer as his instagram inbox must be flooded.

I usually eat anything (Vegan obviously); mostly cooked, but every now and then raw. Rawtill4 and HCLF are a daily activity for me, along with working out and cycling 5-6 days a week. Just here to meet some cool like minded individuals and gain knowledge, as well as share in the process. Any vegans in Houston? like Sugar Land and surrounding areas. I've only heard of FullyRawKristina, but never met her because i never bothered asking her about a meet up and plus she's really busy doing her thing in Houston. If you'd like to know more, feel free to ask!
