What exercise can I do with a broken toe?

My exercise is usually a session at the gym twice a week and some walking when I can. New Year's Eve my back gave up on me but it is now heaps better but I broke a toe last week so any advice on what I can do for exercise when I can't even get a shoe on...it's so painful! Have to be all upper body I guess.

    • Thank you everyone. You have given me some great ideas.
  • Lay on your back, lift your arms and legs and exercise, also hang your arms and legs off the surface of what you are laying on, and exercise. You can also crawl or walk on your hands. What about swimming?
