When to brush teeth on Raw Till 4?

When are the ideal times to brush your teeth? I assume it would be best to brush after every meal. But how long do you have to wait after finishing you meal to brush? There seems to be a consensus that if you've eaten anything acidic then you should wait at least 30 minutes before brushing because otherwise the enamel can be damaged. What about non acidic fruits? What about greens? And what about a cooked dinner, say rice and cooked veggies for instance? I figured it would be best to brush right away after eating non-acidic foods to get rid of sugar and anything else sticking to your teeth that could be food for bacteria. The longer you wait, the longer the bacteria gets a chance to feast in your mouth, no? Or will the enamel still be damaged to a lesser degree even though the food is non acidic?

  • I thoroughly rinse my mouth with water after every meal.  I brush/floss my teeth once a day before bed.  I have perfect dental health.

  • Hi Jonathan, Ryan at HHV did a video called "How to avoid fruity dental problems" that may answer your question:

    in your answer:

The ideal time to brush is before.....(drum roll)

    Before what?Before eating,speaking,going shopping,reading a book,working,walking,smiling etc?

    • I think you answered you own question since every option except "eating" is unrelated to the topic ;)

  • Everything you said is about right. But I heard that you only need to wait 15 minutes after acidic food.
Also, don't brush any harder than you need to.
