your typical day/week

Hi everyone,

I am a total newbie and just about to start transitioning into 80/10/10. I have read that following the diet takes a lot of organisational skills, preparation and planning. Before I even started I am already put off a little. I was wondering if you can share with me your typical day/week. How many times do you buy fruit, in what quantities, do you have to keep half of it in the fridge? What do you take to work for breakfast or lunch? How do you prepare for going away and holidays? Do you take fruit with you? And how do you know what is in season? What do you do if you buy fruit in bulk and its still on ripe but you are already hungry? (i can never find ripe fruit in normal shops)

Thanks a lot for sharing!

  • Don't know where you live but try looking for farmers markets. It's almost always a great deal and local too. They'll help u select ripe fruits etc and you can. Ore easily negotiate a deal

  • I found a wholesale produce market that I am going to try out. But untill then I shop at costco since it is very near my apt.

I have been working on becoming totally HCRV for almost a year now so I know it is very difficult when a good fruit source is hard to find.

I started out making the gourmet meals however my conditioned taste buds would always try to get me to add something (oil, salad dressing, bottled sauces) to the meals. I now try and keep it very simple untill i have conditioned my cravings. I eat mainly bananas, and dates for breakfast and lunch right now. For dinner Ill make a salad with my favorite veggies. I love my spiralizer it makes my salads so much more fun!
