I have always had digestion problems and I came to this lifestyle seeking relief. At first things seemed better once I cut out eggs (I've never been able to eat much dairy). Now, for at least the past 4 months my stomach is in constant pain. Every time I eat I will have to find a bathroom within 20 minutes, and my intestines will start to cramp up terribly. I also struggle with yeast problems, and no matter how much I limit my fat intake, these problems do not go away. I'm at a loss, I know carbs are the way to go, but it seems the more sugar I eat, the worse I feel. I've stuck with it for a year and a half, and I could never go back to the cruelty of eggs and dairy but I'm in so much pain all of the time and I never had these problems before I went high carb low fat. Please.

First couple days raw till 12https://www.thefrugivorediet.com/groups/beginnersinafruitarianrawveganlifestyle/forum/topics/first-couple-days-raw-till-122016-05-08T04:40:27.000Z2016-05-08T04:40:27.000ZBonniehttps://www.thefrugivorediet.com/members/Bonnie442

How the yell do you do this! How do you get used to eating this much fruit? I decided Friday to go vegan and raw till 12, with the intention to go raw till 4 once I am used to it. Day one, breakfast was ten bananas and 1.25 liters of water. I drank all but 1/4 of it over a three hour period. I'm assuming this was much too slow. I couldn't stomach any more of it. I see that some people add coconut sugar to their smoothies. What are you thoughts on this? Breakfast today was a pint of strawberries and 4 bananas shared with my kids, roughly 1000 calories. For lunches and dinners, it was either brown or jasmine rice with earth balance butter, gluten free corn pasta with vegan sauce, and a vegan pizza this evening.

I have spent roughly $110 for the next 4 days of meals. I am trying to make this financially sustainable, but this is difficult. I was spending $50 per week per person. I keep telling myself that my body is not a discount body. I am immensely afraid that I will gain weight just starting out on this lifestyle as I am trying to lose weight and become healthier in general. But FINALLY they caved and said I could give it a shot, though they didn't think I could do it. I was so ready to be successful and prove them wrong. I started yesterday, but for some reason I was having trouble eating enough calories. I know that it takes time for one's stomach to adapt to larger quantities of food, but I was only able to eat a very tiny amount of calories before my stomach felt full. For breakfast yesterday I had a banana and only 6 oranges (4 of them juiced), and I felt fully satisfied after that. A few hours later I was hungry again so I made a smoothie. It had only 2 bananas, a handful of strawberries (like maybe 5 medium-large ones), about a tablespoon of coconut sugar, and a lot of water (I didn't measure it but I filled the blender almost halfway with water). I was only able to get through half the smoothie and I felt STUFFED. After that I completely lost my appetite and wasn't able to eat anything the rest of the day. Before I went to bed I FINALLY felt hungry again but I still had zero appetite. Also, I had absolutely zero energy yesterday, though I'm sure that was from the lack of calories. I was feeling really discouraged, but I decided to try again today. I finished the other half of my smoothie from yesterday for breakfast, and once again I felt really full. I pushed myself to eat a little bit more than I was comfortable with, but after I did that I felt really sick. I still have a bit of a queasy feeling in my stomach. What am I doing wrong? Why do I feel full and sick when I've barely eaten anything? Is this normal for someone transitioning into this lifestyle?

Any one with ideas on edemahttps://www.thefrugivorediet.com/groups/beginnersinafruitarianrawveganlifestyle/forum/topics/any-one-with-ideas-on-edema2015-01-11T16:28:56.000Z2015-01-11T16:28:56.000ZKristen cooper-kucharikhttps://www.thefrugivorediet.com/members/Kristencooperkucharik

Anyone with edema? I want to kick tomorrow's butt (and the days following)! Any tips or advice? I honestly don't think I've ever done an all low fat day.

DETOXING!!!!!!! DOES IT END???
