Spreading out the fruit, then what else for breakfast?

Now I don't know about everyone else but for breakfast I can't really eat a whole lot of fruit because i have to spread it out so it can last, so I usually have 1-3 pieces of fruit first up then a bowl of oatmeal with coconut sugar. Is that still good for you digestion with eating the fruit first then the cooked oatmeal? Does anybody have any good tips for quick, cheap and healthy vegan recipes for breakfast, so that i'll be able to not have a cooked meal in the morning?

  • I usually have a 32-oz. smoothie with water, a few large frozen bananas, and a couple handfuls of spinach. It's very cheap, delicious, and keeps me full for quite awhile. Then partway through the morning, I have 1 or 2 pieces of fruit to get me by until lunch.

    • Thanks! i'll give it a try :D

  • Yes always eat your fruit before any cooked foods. My go to breakfast is puréed apples & strawberries ( think strawberry applesauce) topped with blueberries, bananas, sprouted buckwheat, coconut sugar and cinnamon. Delicious!
