Today I bought a 30 lb box of bananas from my local Farmers Market. It was 26.88 and I had a little over 100 bananas inside... Although, they still aren't ripe I hope they will be soon (:

Depends on if theyre organic. I can get a 40 lb box of conventional for about $20. If theyre organic though I'd say not bad, I usually see organic nana's for $30.
I realize that you posted this back in April but I'm curious if you've done any better. Were they organic? I know Trader Joe's sells bananas for 19 cents each or 29 cents for organic. I've been checking everywhere but not too much organic to choose from.
