    It is october now, and there is hardly anything that will grow at this point unless you're growing in a greenhouse, or growing in a warm climate like California.

    Greens grow throughout fall and winter, but they may need to be covered and protected at night. If you grow in containers (big pots), grow carrots, radish, lettuce, kale and cover them to protect from cold nights.
