    Hello! I am new on this vegan path and would like to know if you have discovered some places where to find some good deals on fruit  and veggies in Bucharest since the discussion was created. :) Thanks!

      Today, I found bananas at 3.95 lei/kg at Cora.

      Also, could you tell me what kind of blender are you using? I'm looking forward to preparing smoothies, but I don't own one yet and Vitamix are a little over my budget right now. :)

      I did not give up hope of finding vegan friends :) 

      I don't post much lately but I'm still here.

      My blender is a "no name one" :) and very old. Still does the job.

      Unless you want to prepare very sophisticated stuff any blender will do.

      You can buy Vitamix in Romania from Ligia Pop's website/online shop. And also Blendtec. I ordered a blender from Trisa of Switzerland (you find it on several online Romanian shops). It has 550 W and a glass jug. It works great and it was 230 RON.

    In Brasov, Dacia market, very good sweet ripe large bananas, 4 lei/kg, and great white grapes for 3,80 lei/kg.

    Today, 13th of June, I found bananas at 3.87/kg at Carrefour Grand Arena.
