Initial Weight Gain?

Hey everyone! I've been doing raw till 4 for a week now and have noticed so many positive changes in my mood and energy levels! I come from a restrictive background, though I have been weight restored for over a year now. I've noticed that my thighs have been getting bigger, while my stomach has been getting smaller but my abdominal muscles seem to be fading. I know I've been on this lifestyle for barely any time but I just want to be reassured that this is normal. I don't know if it's that I'm not eating enough, though I haven't been restricting at all and eat at least 1,000 cals from dates alone.

How long did it take those who have had a restrictive background get through the healing stage? (I know it's different for every body, but I just want to have an idea) And what is the minimum amount of cals I should eat per day?
