Moving to Indiana.. where's the fruit at?!?

In May I am moving to Indianapolis to peruse post-college life as an "adult". I grew up in Washington, am currently in college in Florida, and pretty nervous about the transition. I have most everything set up but is there anyone in Indianapolis who knows some great spots to get mass amounts of fruit. I interned in Indianapolis last summer and was pretty disappointed in the farmers markets. I usually just ended up at Costco instead which is ok, except their organic fruit selection is about as consistent as my major was the first year of school. Anything better?

  • I do, there is a link on my page

  • yep, Jordan Anglemyer

  • Ooh make sure to give me a heads up if you host a fruit luck. Im in South Bend and would definitely try and come. And I dont think I can give any advice on this thread other than to agree that Indiana is awful haha, and im closer to chicago than indy, so I go there for an asian market sometimes. I do bet indy would be the best bet in indiana for finding any like minded people

  • That sounds super nice, I will definitely check it out. I a pretty nervous heading up there where I know I won't have a strong support group, here in college there are tons of vegans and quite a few raw-ish people. Not sure how I am going to handle the lifestyle in Indy. We should definitely chill when I get up there, I will PM you once I get myself moved into my apartment and we can figure something out!
