Banana "Ice-cream"

Hey guys! I don't know if this has been posted before, but this is the recipe I use when I feel like a frozen treat.

You basically need as many frozen bananas as you want

To every frozen banana add one date (So 1 banana=1 date)

If you have a powerful blender/food processor this should work quite well, but if your like me and you don't  feel free to add a small amount of water, or if your not fully raw add a milk alternative of your choice ( oat milk, nut milk etc..).

Then Blend baby blend until all bananas are mashed and dates are combined!!! This is seriously yummy and feel free to freeze any excess because it lasts a while :)

Feel free to top with a few crushed walnuts for a extra crunch!

  • sounds awesome!  how many bananas do you usually use for this?  also how do you freeze your bananas?

    • I freeze my bananas when they are really ripe!! I cut each banana  into about thirds and  I basically put them in a container, depending on how deep your container is, if you have enough room you can make a few layers of frozen bananas on top eachother , separating the layers with baking paper. I try to make sure that the bananas dont touch eachother because sometimes when they are frozen they can stick together and it is quite difficult to separate them! I keep my bananas frozen for how long I want, I believe that they can last a while! Basically get your frozen bananas out when you want ice cream!

If you would like to make one serving of ice cream to eat that night, I usually use 2 bananas depending on how hungry I am :) If you want to make banana ice-cream to keep in the freezer in a container for a while you could use up to 15 bananas, its really up to you and the container size!    When I am making the ice cream, I usually have to do one banana at a time because my blender thing isnt powerful enough.
