Most of my friends in college are not raw vegans, but they definatley love fruit, do their best to stay as healthy as they can, and enjoy the company of others. What is great about being a student is trying and learning new things! For this reason, I always try to encourage those friends of mine who may see my lifestyle as daunting to try it out for atleast one meal and see how they feel!

1) Do your friends ask you about your lifestyle?

2) Have any of your friends gone vegan after getting to know you?

3) How do you share your healthy lifestyle with your friends?

4) Tips to explaining your lifestyle to others/ friends

5) Tips for staying motivated in social settings whe you are the LFRV minority

6) Anything else ;)

Thanks everyone!

  • Hi Victoria! Yes many friends are curios in a good way! One of my best friends who is not even vegetarian completed a 7 day juice fast with me a few months ago. After the fast she saw how amazing she felt and she began to incorporate our lifestyle into her own and she loves it. She always "kindly" argued with me that fruit makes you fat and she would avoid fruit like it was tasty cakes! Now she eats plenty of fruit in a day ; ) I think some people are interested and some are not. Your always going to have some people who want to judge but you can't let them bring you down. I try to surround myself with only the people who support me and I support them as well.

    • Hi Krystle :) That is so great you have a freind who fasted with you! Thanks for the reply! V
