Moisture?

hello all :)

So I am in desperate need of a raw vegan moisturizer/lotion alternative, i do not want to use anything containing chemicals and what not on my skin but it is getting very cold and dry here and my skin is showing it. what do you do to put moisture back in your skin?

  • Hi!  I use either almond oil or coconut oil.  I find coconut oil is more moisturizing but I don't like the smell of it.  Also, put the oil on right when you get out of the shower (btw, cold showers are better for your skin) when there is still a bit of water on your skin.  Your skin will feel very soft when the oil soaks in! :D With my dry skin, I have to moisturize multiple times a day.

I also put a dime-sized amount of oil on my eyelids and lashes before going to bed.  Oil is great for moisturizing your lips as well! :)

  • raw organic coconut oil is great! you can also use papaya, avocado or very easy and accessible  the inside of the banana peel :)

  • I fully concur! It has a manifold amount of uses. . . .
