Hey y'all! I'm sad I couldn't tell you about this sooner but I just found out myself! Tomorrow from 11-5pm at the Animal Place, a farm animal rescue santuary up in Grass Valley, there will be music, a vegan picnic (with a ton of vendors, but this would be a great time for a spontaneous fruit picnic!), and a keynote speech by one of my favorite authors John Robbins (A Diet for a New America and many others including collaboration on the China Study!) It costs $25, $12 for children under 12 years old, and raises money for the santuary! Best part in my opinion will be being able to spend time with all the animals, couldn't ask for a better birthday than that :o) I'll be heading there from Sacramento at 10am and would love to bring any who can come or we can meet up somewhere and you can follow me if my car fills up!
