  • I have quite a few good times across the board since I've raced everything like 80m-500m on the track, 5/10km roads and 10km xc. I think my best is still probably 1500m where i ran 3:45 last year, probably could of ran faster this year just didn't get into a decent race. And born UK but lived in BC Canada for last 11 years!

    • That's really neat! I am more of a half marathoner right now. I did a 20K this morning actually and it was great. It was my first race back from taking July off of running :-)
    • Oh awesome I've never tried a half marathon race but i will definitely move up that way in the future. I think my longest run ever has been a sunday Long run which was 2 hrs and 30mins and I ran 33km!

    • Thats so cool how you can run for a really long time and still be fast at short distances! I cannot remember the last time I trained for the mile or a 400m! I sometimes do 400m repeats for speedwork in marathon training.
  • Thanks for the info Ellie! yea i've read a lot about doug he seems to be a great guy on the right path!

    • What distances are you best at? What country/state are you from?
  • I know the company Altra is vegan. They have done interviews with No Meat Athlete and I really respect their message. Also, Doug from Rock Creek Runner (also vegan) runs in Hoka so I assume they are vegan as well.
