After having discovered the raw food diet recently, I have been looking for recipes and most of all motivation and guidance to set me on the path of green living. As hard as it can be sometimes I am ecstatic at my decision to take this journey. I have discovered Ani Phyo and Mimi Kirk and now Megan Elizabeth and the Epic Kristina :) with Fantabulous recipes and advice. All this has led me here :)

Thats nice. Let me know if there is any way i can help u. I am quite new to the practical application of the lifestyle, its just recently that i actually started off on the LFRV diet, but been reading up on it and collecting information for a bit more than half a yr now. Also tried a few other things, including water fasting etc, which was quite an interesting experience.
Have you actually started, or just learning about the diet? I c on your profile that u are searching for recipes, i quite like Teri Leventhal's blog. But the longer you are following 811, the less preparing you will do, thats for sure ;)
Do You have any questions at all? If want, you can add me on skype, if it helps you with the motivation to chat once a day or 2... I remember what difference it made for me to keep contact with my cousin (So big difference, that I actually moved here a few days ago, lol, just hope I will find a job ok, but its so much easier to be LFRV when u are not alone, matters so much..)
What is your main concern about going raw and what would be your main motivation? :)
How old are your kids? My cousin has 3 (1, 2 and 9 yr old). They are getting used to it, it depends on their age, but if u agree with your husband, i think the change wouldnt be too difficult for them. Its ur choice tho (and it does depend on the kids and their age a lot i think) to make the change sudden and firm, or let them experience and choose it themselves. But even by being an example, it will always be an open door for them to go to when they become more health conscious by themselves. However first of all u need to be confident that u want to do this lifestyle and got to be certain that this is the way to go :)
