  • Hiya Allan,

You want a couple more slaw recipes? Here are two of my favorites:

Celery slaw (I know. Sounds bitter, no? But this is surprisingly delish!)

Pulse a bunch of celery in your processor to make a slaw.

Blend sweet juicy oranges and some tahini (1-2 T) and pour over the slaw. Yum.

(Alternatively, you can use strawberries instead of oranges.

Another to-die-for alternative is to blend oranges with macadamia nuts. OMG. You'd swear you hear the steel drums and hula dancers swaying about! LOL)

    Mango-Cabbage Slaw

Pulse some cabbage to make a slaw.

Dice some mango and put with the slaw.

Process another mango or two with some cashews and pour over your slaw. Amazing!

Okay, Okay...One more: This is a melon gazpacho:

Pulse watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberries together. I like mine kind of textured, so there are bits of the fruit. Else you can pulse till its smoother. How ever you prefer. REally, really delicious!

    ....ana xoxo

  • thanks man... I try to practice yoga a bit here and there... I'm into studying spirituality and the yogic path in the broader sense.

Look forward to hearing what you're working on :)
  • Good for you! I'm a big fan of "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." It took me about a year and a half to two years of trying until I was able to do 811rv . I just couldn't get past the intense salt cravings that always hit around 2-3 weeks into each attempt. But I kept motivating to try again, and when I finally made it through that phase, I never looked back (it's been two years for me.)
  • Hi Allan - thanks for the friend request, and welcome to 30BaD! How are you doing? Are you new at this or a seasoned veteran? Or somewhere in between like me :-) I hope you have a great day.
  • Hi Allan- Always nice to meet another musician... what kind of music do you work with?
