Hello! I found Freelee’s YouTube channel back in 2015 and never really stopped watching ever since. I had always wanted to adopt a plant-based diet/vegan diet and thanks to her channel, I finally had the guidance and virtual support to make the necessary efforts. Ironically, the year of 2016, I was professionally diagnosed with borderline diabetes and was told I needed to make some serious changes. I started to gradually increase my intake of raw foods (mainly fruits) until I had fully transitioned to an all raw lifestyle. Looking back, I didn’t really know what I was doing and still lacked a lot of the knowledge I have now, however, this did not change the fact that I felt my absolute best! My skin was glowing like never before, my hair and nails were no longer brittle and weak but sturdy and strong, my bowel movements were regular (NO SMELL), and fat was just melting off of my body despite only being lightly active. In early 2017, I went back to my doctor for my yearly checkup and was told that miraculously, I was not borderline diabetic anymore, in fact I was nowhere near being diabetic anymore! My doctor was shocked, stunned even, and couldn’t believe my results, but encouraged me to continue doing whatever it is that I was doing. Best of all, I was able to do all of this without contributing to the pain and suffering of my animal friends. I remember wanting to get tickets to the Woodstock Fruit Festival so that I could just give Freelee a big hug and tell her how far I’ve come.
Unfortunately, as time went on, I struggled financially due to personal problems I don’t wish to disclose here. I fell into a long bout of depression and abandoned the lifestyle that had saved me. My mental health was in such a poor state, that I just began eating anything and everything. At the time, I was working late hours in restaurants, which eventually lead to me bartending. Things spiraled out of control. I was drinking more than I ever had in my entire life and smoking a disgusting amount of cigarettes every day. I gained weight, I was bloated, backed up, swollen from all the alcohol, dehydrated, fatigued, etc. — you name it, I had it. I even managed to give myself asthma!
I left the service industry for good not too long ago and eventually quit drinking and smoking. I am blessed to say that I comfortably work from home now and have much more freedom to go about my day the way I desire to. It’s been 3 years since I’ve smoked a cigarette. Hooray! I occasionally have a drink or two but it’s very rare. I mean VERY rare. Anyways, after all that, I found myself being the heaviest I had ever been in my entire life (187-195lbs). I still felt sick, malnourished, tired, bloated— all of it!
Around the month of December of 2021, I decided to get back to the Raw Till 4 lifestyle, this time, I wasn’t looking back, ever. Things don’t always go as planned, so on days I couldn’t strictly adhere to Raw Till 4 guidelines, I ate low fat cooked high carb.
It’s now 2022, and I am still on Raw Till 4. While I feel 1000x better already, I would love to transition back to an all raw or higher raw fruit-based diet again. I wish to connect with others who are on similar paths and have a passion for this type of lifestyle.

The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
I would like to be able to meet and connect with likeminded individuals on a similar path who are just as passionate about this lifestyle as I strive to be! Being bullied for eating a fruit-based diet is annoying and having a supportive community around is optimal for one’s mental health.
