I was watching Youtube videos about "Fruitarian" people and their stories, then was referred to 30bananas, and here we are. I've been eating fruit for 1-2 meals a day for the past 9 months, most likely due to COVID (long) symptoms that fired up my past gout, and other seemingly auto-immune types of responses in my feet and back. I could not walk for 6 weeks, because of what appeared to be a massive gout attack, however it affected both feet from toes to ankles, and even a bit of knee pain. I also had shortness of breath, back and neck pain, and some headaches, and a strange systemic malaise that I can't describe other than pure "meh". I knew after several weeks this was not a normal gout attack. I had my first gout attack in 2010 or so, because of poor decisions, some binge eating, and lots of drinking alcohol, and since then I've realized I now had "the gout". I had another gout attack a few years later, and my third was probably 2 years after that. I have had another couple attacks, mostly minor since, until this last one in January 2021, which I described above, which I was pretty certain was COVID related. I started looking for answers, and I've always had a hunch that I needed to try a raw foods diet. I stumbled on to rawfully organic Christina around March 2021, and eventually around May 2021 started eating fruit for breakfast, and sometimes lunch. I'd eat only veggies and rice for dinner. Some days no rice, maybe legumes, or just fruit. I completely cut out all bread and pasta 100%. I would eat nuts and seeds as well. I cut out dairy and meat completely for about 6 months (May-Oct 2021). I average having dairy/meat once a week since then. It's not much, though. I might have pizza once a month, or chicken once a week, maybe sour cream, or eggs every couple weeks, a dollop of Ranch once a month. I feel some twinges now and again one foot (usually the right), and it may or may not follow meat, or dairy, or other nasty things. Sometimes it might be due to a stressful event, but is usually accompanied by some sort of falling off the vegan wagon. I'm fairly certain it's COVID stuff, because I understand that COVID is real, even if I don't believe it's necessarily as dangerous, or as lethal as many people believe. To conclude, I'm thinking of going full frugivore or at least raw vegan. At this point, my number one goal is to be healthy, and number 2 is to lose that last 20 lbs. I was 255 lbs in April 2021, and went from 255 lbs to 220 by November, but am back up to 230. I have always been bigger than most, because I'm dense, and I'm 6 foot 1. I weighed 255-275 from 2010-2018. At the end of 2018, I went on a weight loss plan and got down to 195 due to health issues/hypertension. But at that point, people said I looked too gaunt, that I was starving myself. This is not the first time I've realized that my target weight might actually be more like 205 or so, and so I'd like to get back to that. Thanks for reading, and I hope it wasn't too much.

I'm exploring various possibilities
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...
I enjoy fantasy/sci fi books and movies. I also like to study religion, and history, and documentaries. I love to walk, and I dabble in art and music. I am an investor, and have researched the stock market, and will be a quasi expert in that pursuit soon enough. I used to play a lot of sports, softball, soccer, etc... I used to downhill ski many times a year, but it's been 4 or 5 years since my last excursion. I've started to dabble in possibly becoming an influencer on social media (TBD)
The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
Is being frugivore a wonderful thing? Are you happy and healthy with it? If so, I will do it, and also I need to know if it's ok to mix fruits and veggies in smoothies. I've seen videos on it, but where is the science? People say don't mix this, or don't mix that, but it's ok to mix spinach and berries. Only eat melons alone, never mix citrus with dairy, don't mix garlic, don't eat onions. It's all such a crapshoot.
