A long time vegetarian/ vegan who started looking into the raw til 4 lifestyle last October/ November. Have been committing fully to Rt4 since New Years.
As many others, I have a history of calorie restriction; I've never been really overweight but always been watching my food intake and exercised a lot in order to keep fit.
Even though I've been vegetarian/ vegan for ages and ages, I used to believe that what one needed in order to live a helthy life was pasta and protein. Two-three years ago I went raw, but more a nordic vegetables + nuts kind of raw; not really high fat, but rather low in just about everything.
I stayed raw for a year before I started straying from the raw diet, both due to what I now understand was poor nutrition/ energy (=always having cravings for cooked foods), and due to a different work situation where I had to have my lunches at the job canteen for about a year's time (still vegan, but a lot of oily salads).
When I ran across different YouTube channels about Rt4 a last autumn I intuitively felt that this actually could be a sustainable lifestyle for me.
Since then I've been struggling a lot, not with the diet itself, but with a lot of health issues that haven't improved, quite the contrary.
I'm from the Nordics - originally from Finland, have been living in Sweden long term, and now located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

As a complete newbie I'm simply interested in other people's experiences. Especially curious to see if there are others who've switched to this lifestyle at a mature age (all bloggers and vloggers seem to be so young, or at least started this lifestyle young) and what results they've gotten.

Oh hey, thank you for letting me know!!! Are you taking the lyposheric C? That stuff is amazing! Have you seen these case studies on Vit. C? I would try taking even more, it sounds like your body may be dealing with something and the C will finish it once and for all if you take enough.
