Nearly 40 year old ex athlete and was looking to get back into sport after straying of the path for a while. figured i had better look into my diet to see if i could improve it (it wasnt that bad, but not great either). after reading numerous articals about the benifits of vegaterianism / veganism in sporting performance, i came across an online talk by Dr Doug Graham. Holy moly, dont i wish i had read his book 20 years ago. Instant convert. Simple, easy and effective. I would like to join 30BaD to share knowledge and experiences of others living a similar lifestyle

    Maybe you'd like it.

    Cheers

  • i've gotten on ok with this diet in Manchester, now blackberry picking a little, I went to an outdoor grocer in Oldham last Friday (also there Saturday). Great prices for nectarines, peaches. Really happy to find him. I think he said he does Chorlton, not sure. Bananas are good staple in terms of being satisfying, otherwise I could handle other fruit less easy, I'll see how satisfying persimmons, nectarines, peaches,... can be.
  • Welcome,

ex-athlete!, what event? I have a supicion that this diet is good for athletes!
