  • Hi,

I wanted to let you know we will have a raw fruit festival in Spain next September

    http://festival.811-friendly.net

    Maybe you'd like it.

    Cheers

  • Hi,
Regarding my picture of 34 bananas...... Last night I only ate about 30 of the bananas, so lets say I put 15 bananas in each jar, I will have two big LONG meals......I take my time eating it. Sometimes I will blend 10 bananas with WATER in each jar and than just take 3 jars to work instead of 2.
  • Hey Penny - how are you doing? Hope the week has been good to you!
  • Alright, Penny. I wish you well, my dear! I'm here if you need someone to chat with.
  • Hey Penny! I just read your status...The most important thing is that you do it for yourself and for your own health. I can totally relate with you, my partner is a carnivore, he eats meat, dairy, whatever he wants. It was hard at the beginning to accept the fact that I won't eat at family parties (like christmas haha!) but since I suffer from a debilating disease, he understands me and respect my choices. If you feel better eating this way, you partner will see the difference it makes and will be happy for you! :)
  • Hey Penny, you aren't alone! There's a whole load of us out here, all figuring out how to do this and survive. I'd agree with what Kaitlyn says about the trial. A month on 811 and the benefits will be there for everyone see.
Support can come from any direction - the folks here will support I'm sure.

  • "My partner sees 811 as just another pointless attempt to loose weight, I feel so alone and unsupported, but I do understand his view."

Tell him that you'll only be giving 811 a test-run for 30 days. I've found people don't find it as strange if you make them believe it's only temporary. After that first month, he'll be able to see the changes (emotionally, mentally, physically) and possibly encourage you to continue on. Hopefully, 811 will lessen some of your pain and he will just want to you be happy!
