Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to the Frugivore Diet. Detailed responses will only be accepted (feel free to reapply with more detail if at first not approved as a member).

I am almost 34 and live with my partner of almost 12 years and our 5yo daughter. I switched to a plant based diet in August 2015 after watching a few documentaries (Hungry for change, fat, sick, and nearly dead, and FOK were my first ones). I went home and pretty much took everything out of the house that wasn't healthy for our bodies. I did it more for the health reasons and I remember going out to lunch with my partner a few months after and we had ordered burgers. I just couldn't eat it. I think I took one bite - and just couldn't eat it. I started out by juicing a lot every day and felt AMAZING. As someone who has chronic fatigue, it was the best feeling I've ever felt! My mood was great, I was smiling, I was happy - intrinsically. It fell downhill after personal issues at home and there were even times I would get the cheesy hash browns in the deli at Whole Foods. I just wanted it. I lost touch with the animal cruelty aspect of veganism. But I also just couldn't help it. I re-educated myself and reminded myself why I ethically do not want to eat that. I've also been in weekly therapy since May, and am coming into a hopeful feeling (only every now and then - very infrequently). But I also am learning that our diet can help with that as well. I want in, but I'm also tired. And I don't want to spend all this money on fresh food and then binge on chips and guac at night, or chipotle every week. In the parasite cleanse group, they talk a lot about staying away from fruit as the parasites love sugar, but then what Freelee says makes so much sense. So it left me confused, and I want to make sure I have it right. I've learned parasites can control your life, and anyone that I've come across on a raw vegan lifestyle has looked healthy, happy, and ALIVE. I want that.

The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?

I am not quite sure just how to begin this process. I've been following freely for about a month now after hearing of her from Ellen Fisher. I did a parasite cleanse a couple months ago and I'm looking for other ways to maintain a clean body. I keep falling with food addictions (I think?).

The Frugivore Diet is a fruit-based vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:

I will comply because I like totally agree with all this
