Approximately 7 years ago I was a raw foodie. I loved the food, the recipes and also the fact that lunch could be 6 bananas. Eat and run! I lived a year in the Solomon Islands and although not huge amounts of fruit, the pineapples and bananas were the best I have ever had. Returning to New Zealand and a huge amount of stress, and there still is. I am finding that I have little control over anything, and at least by taking control of my eating and subsequent nurturing of myself I believe that I can move forward in a much more positive light. We have an abundance of beautiful summer fruit now, and what better time to start.

Meal plans and also seasonal plans. A lot of fruit is imported into New Zealand (mainly tropical) and I would much prefer to eat seasonally.
