Suffered a blocked colon and after a cleanse was told to eat yogurt for the "live bacteria", found a page on FB which threw dairy out, so now I am learning. Was ex vegetarian, tried the vegan but not winning....

I heard that eating bananas for a whole month was good, and / or the mono eating lifestyle. I just ate 5 carrots for lunch and am really battling with belly ache. I need help obviously.

    Welcome to 30BaD.  I guess you have already read advice about the coffee and teas.  One just has to do it:)

    As far as body detox goes, if we give the body the proper tools it needs, your body is your own doctor.  Think of it this way, in the womb, a baby does not need intervention to grow.  You body has its own innate wisdom for healing, but it does need proper tools via calories, carbs, vitamins and minerals found in leafy greens and fruit.

    As far as withdrawals go, strategies that have helped is drink a boat load of water and drink till you float to dilute and expel toxins.  Eat  overt fat free again to maximize release.  Eat a mono meal or two of oranges a day to help with any pains and inflammation.
